Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure

We've invested heavily into a robust, secure and reliable data center and cloud infrastructure – so you don't have to. In our data center, the network infrastructure that serves as the backbone of our cloud offering consists of multiple storage systems, providing huge storage capacity and lots of room for growth, as well as impenetrable, high-speed, redundant fiber-optic cabling. This network infrastructure is housed in a 29,000 sq. ft. facility that is also home to our headquarters, our records services department and our records storage warehouse. The facility itself is protected by state-of-the-art security, employee identification and rapid-response alert systems, as well as a generator that can run the entire facility at peak power levels for up to three days without refueling.

NebuSTORE - The Cloud You Can Reach

NebuSTORE is a revolutionary cloud solution from BIS and EMC. It combines the content management power of EMC ApplicationXtender with the storage convenience of the BIS cloud, enabling you to leverage the entire ApplicationXtender product family through the cloud. With NebuSTORE, you scan your documents using any scanner and upload the images and data into our cloud for archival and retrieval through the ApplicationXtender document management suite.

The only hardware requirements are one or more scanners deployed in the location or locations you choose – ideally where paper documents are most prevalent in your organization – as well as any Internet-connected computer to access the cloud. You may already have scanners or multifunction devices that can be used for scanning your paper documents. If not, we can provide scanners from leading manufacturers. We even offer an Internet-connected touch-screen document capture appliance that enables scanning to our cloud with a single touch. It just doesn't get much simpler than that.

The only software requirement is ApplicationXtender, but there are absolutely no software licensing fees imposed on you. With NebuSTORE, we provide all the software tools and the cloud storage space you need. The only cost to you is an affordable monthly usage fee. For this reason, NebuSTORE significantly lowers the barrier to entry to document capture and content management technologies.

Records Services and Image Hosting

You can also achieve the cost-saving and productivity-boosting benefits of document capture without ever feeding paper through a scanner. Our records services department provides document conversion services to help you reduce or eliminate paper documents by converting them into electronic images and data. Following the document capture process by our records services team, we can export your images, data and index files to portable media – or we can upload it directly into our cloud solution.

Quite simply, with this cloud-based image hosting solution, we do the scanning for you, and all you have to do is use any Internet-connected computer to retrieve your images and data in the cloud. We'll provide secure access to the cloud, which you pay for through an affordable monthly usage fee.
