This survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Oklahoma, benefiting the state’s economy, its work force and businesses. The Best Places to Work in Oklahoma list comprises 32 companies, in two size categories: 18 small/medium size employers (fewer than 249 employees) and 14 large-sized employers (more than 250 employees). BIS earned the distinction as one of the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma in the small/medium category.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in the state of Oklahoma;
- Have at least 25 employees working in Oklahoma;

Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process, and determined the final rankings.
